    APPLICATION ROUNDS at MOREHOUSE COLLEGE

    Here’s what you need to know about application rounds at вèÖ±²¥:

    • Early Decision (ED):
      A binding option for students who know вèÖ±²¥ is their top choice. ED applications are due by November 1.

    • Early Action (EA):

    • A non-binding option that lets you apply by December 1 and receive your admission decision sooner—without the commitment to enroll.

    • Regular Decision (RD):
      The most common application round, with a February 1 deadline and decisions released in March.

    • Application Requirements

      Application Requirements

      A completed application for new first-time applicants includes the following:
      • Completed Common Application or вèÖ±²¥ Application
      • Essay (choose any of the essay prompts)
      • On-line application fee or valid application fee waiver
      • Two (2) letters of recommendation*
        • One (1) letter must come from student’s current school counselor
      • Official high school transcript*
      • Official SAT/ACT scores 
      • Student Resume (optional)

      How to Submit

      To ensure the timely processing of application materials during the admission cycle, please submit documents via the Common App or other online credential request services.

      вèÖ±²¥ has also partnered with , through which your High School Counselor may use upload materials directly for applicants. In the rare circumstances that the preceding methods of submission are not options, please have your High School Counselor contact admissiondocuments@morehouse.edu for other options. If an item has been sent to вèÖ±²¥ electronically, please do not mail duplicate hard copies.

      *Documents with an asterisk beside it must be submitted directly from the high school and will not be accepted if submitted by the applicant.

      Learn why official transcripts are so important when you apply to college. This page explains what you need to submit, including your current (in-progress) and final high school transcripts, and any college transcripts if you have them. Make sure these documents come directly from your school and are properly certified to help with your admission, placement, and financial aid.
